Sport participation lowers stress levels and reduces depression symptoms for both men and women. Regular physical activity has been shown to improve mental health among adolescents. Sport helps youths cope with depression and decrease suicidal tendencies. There are many benefits to sports. For example, meaningful relationships can help you build your identity. Moreover, physical activity and the participation in sports have been known to be linked to feelings of happiness, reducing anxiety and depression signs among teenagers.Furthermore, sports act as a stress reliever for many adolescents. Many youth suffer from poor physical and mental health. Teens have a better mental health when they have parents who are involved in their lives. Despite all the efforts made to alleviate stress in students’ lives, poor mental health persists. Suicide and depression are two of the most common mental health problems in our society today. A daily exercise routine can lead to better physical and mental health. According to the researchers, 12.6% of Filipinos who exercised 60 minutes per week reported feeling lonely and 13.6% felt anxious. Culture is an important element of physical activity. The environment can have an impact on the choices made by individuals. A person’s quality of life is affected by many social factors, including family, socioeconomic status, school, media, and community. Suicidal thinking is often linked to relationships with others and life satisfaction. The well-being of an individual can be affected by their gender and their ethnicity. Youths may consider suicide if they cannot manage their stress or meet their expectations. Individuals may choose to become isolated from their stressors, shut down communication with others and take risks. While some people choose to be physically active to reduce stress and maintain a healthy life style, others engage in such activities. Athletes and students, as well as athletes, have a direct impact on their interpersonal and mental health. Sport helps teenagers lead a healthier and happier life. It can also be used as a stress relief tool to help people cope with the pressures of the world. Many students experience stress and anxiety due to being away from family and feeling obliged to earn high grades. These stressors could lead to suicidal tendencies and thoughts. Sports can prevent suicide from happening. Many articles on this topic focus on how sports can increase physical activity and reduce depression. Sport activities are a way to build a sense belonging and social connections. This helps reduce depression and loneliness.
