The Importance Of Academic Honor Code And Integrity
This essay is inspired by Joe Paterno’s famous quote. As part of my Valparaiso University Master’s program, I am sharing an essay on Academic Honor and Integrity. My essay will consist of 3 paragraphs. It will discuss writing academic tests with integrity and proper preparation, submission of assignments with originality, authorencity and honesty in learning process.
Assessments of knowledge and understanding are an important part of the evaluation process. Clearing subject doubts and preparing for the exams will ensure that you score high grades on academic tests. Intergrity is a great tool to help students understand their subject and position. It allows students to gain a better understanding of the subject by allowing them to spend more time on it. However, they can also be used to learn from the internet. Assignments that involve coding, communication, language development are great ways to learn the course in depth. You will lose interest in the course if you copy other students’ work or share it online. This is a form of Plagarism that is well-recognized. For academic success, it is best to submit original and authentic work.
You might lose something if you lie to others. It is possible to lose everything if one isn’t open with themselves. It is important to maintain integrity and honor throughout all stages of life. As a student at the moment, I intend to honor the code throughout my academic career. Clear knowledge about courses is necessary. Talk to professors.
