Lack Of Education In Third World Countries

Third world countries have a severe lack of education. This is because millions of uneducated children do not have the education they need to excel in life.

Children in third-world countries can’t go to school, first of all, because they don’t have the right tools. A lack of a teacher, or a teacher who is not qualified, a classroom without learning materials, and / or fewer teachers in third world countries are just some examples. Global Citizen reports that there is not enough teachers worldwide to provide universal primary education.

A second reason is that some families don’t have the means to educate their children. “But schools remain too expensive for many poor families and children are forced home to work or do chores.

The last cause is children who are disabled or miscast. They also suffer from natural catastrophes and the risk of war. Global Citizen says that more than 100 million children in developing countries can’t read even one sentence. Girls often lose out because they think it is less important to educate girls than boys. They are instead sent to do household chores.” Equally important is the fact that around half of all children worldwide were born in conflict-affected countries in 2011.

Their world says that “unexpected events like earthquakes, floods and diseases can derail education for millions.” This shows that children do not have the skills necessary to succeed in life.
